An accident between two minibuses and a truck at Zeeburg, West Coast Demerara in the vicinity of GuyAmerica on Saturday claimed the life of 37-year-old Gaitree Sewsankar, a resident of Sister’s Village, West Bank Demerara.
The accident involved motor lorry (GWW 6801) driven by 31-year-old Christopher Rufino; minibus (BTT 1676) owned and driven by Vickram Persaud, a 62-year-old of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo (EBE); and minibus (BAB 1864) owned by Gary Aaron of Uitvlugt and driven by Devon Daziel, a 35-year-old of Vergenoegen, EBE.

They were taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital where Sewsankar was pronounced dead.
The driver of the minibus, along with three of the passengers, Imtiaz Ishmeal, Sydney Stephen and Raysidea Marian, were transferred to the West Demerara Regional Hospital for further treatment.
