Why Trinidad is top on vacation list of Indian Billionaire Anand Mahindra?

A famous Indian billionaire Anand Mahindra said that Trinidad and Tobago is on top of his vacation list. India media channels reported that who runs a USD 20 billion worth of company operations in over 100 cities loved the fusion of Hindi-Trinidadian music created in the Soca tune ‘Nack Ah Ting’ by Raymond Ramnarine and a band named Dil-E-Nadan.

The Indian businessman also shared the song on his Twitter which received over 200,000 views with hundreds of likes and retweets.

“This isn’t the usual #MondayMotivation type of reflection. But I think it guarantees an upbeat start to the week! And Trinidad goes to the top of my vacation destination wish-list,” he tweeted.

The song which the billionaire shared on his Twitter is making rounds on social media. It has 3.8 million views on Youtube, and over 15 thousand people have liked the song video on the platform. The song was released over a year ago, and the craze is back.

Many people commented requesting Raymond Ramnarine and Dil-E-Nadan to make a remake in Bollywood.

“This is what I like, true originality. Raymond Ramnarine and the DEN band have seriously outdone themselves. I love the horns; I love the fact that it was filmed in Caura, 1/4 mile from where I grew up. This is true Trini Music, a perfect mixture of Trini culture. From one musician to another, well done, Raymond Ramnarine,” wrote a user named Raja Sonnylal.

“Lovely remix! Well sung, So nostalgic; my fiance from Joburg liked chutney music; he introduced me to chutney remixes when I was there some years ago; great stuff. Namaste & warmest wishes from Mumbai, India,” commented a user named Sangeeta K.

After Anand Mahindra shared the video on his Twitter, many people headed towards watching the original video on Youtube and building a musical connection between the two countries that are thousands of miles away from each other.
