Trinidad and Tobago: Mostly sunny conditions this morning despite cloudy patches producing light or moderate showers in a few areas in Trinidad and Tobago. The surface wind flow across the equatorial Atlantic continues to be mostly uninterrupted, and as a result, breezy conditions are expected to continue, which can get windy at times, especially in elevated areas.
The forecast for this afternoon is for generally sunny conditions except for cloudy patches producing showers over a few areas. There is also a low chance (20%) of an isolated heavier shower or thunderstorm. Winds can become near gusty showers.

Tonight is forecast to be mostly fair apart from lingering showers in a few areas. The seas are moderate with waves up to 2.5 metres in the open waters. Due to the moderate to strong wind flow across the Atlantic the seas can be choppy at times, even in sheltered areas. Mariners and sea bathers are still advised to exercise caution.
There is generally a mild, occasionally moderate, concentration of dust in the atmosphere today. This is expected to continue over the next few days. The nighttime and predawn hours can become cool to chilly at times because of the colder air masses from the north interacting with and modifying the air temperatures over the Antilles.
Tomorrow is likely to be the same as today except for some increase in surface moisture during the evening and into Saturday morning, which could produce light or moderate showers in some areas with the risk of a heavier shower or thunderstorm.
