Trinidad and Tobago: Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Department issued the weather advisory and stated that there are chances of some patches of cloudiness.
Although the north Atlantic high-pressure cell is dominant, there is still some residual surface moisture over our area today. Amid the sunshine, some patches of cloudiness are producing a few light to moderate showers, in some areas this morning. Conditions are expected to be similar over the next few days.

The wind flow continues to be breezy and sometimes windy across Trinidad and Tobago. Seas can become choppy at times due to the strong wind flow across the open waters.
There is mild to moderate concentrations of Saharan dust in the atmosphere. Persons who are sensitive to this change in air quality are advised to take the necessary precautions.
The forecast for this afternoon and tonight is for hazy and breezy conditions with a few brisk isolated showers. Night-time and predawn temperatures can become cool to chilly at times.

This weekend, and into Monday, is expected to have an increase in low level moisture over Trinidad and Tobago, with cloudy periods interrupting the sunshine, at times producing light to moderate showers in varying areas.
There is a low to medium chance of a heavier shower or isolated thunderstorm, the risk of which will be greater on Saturday, but remains on Sunday also. The surface moisture will begin to gradually reduce from Monday when there should be a reduction in showers.
