A high pressure system will be the dominant feature during the next 24 hours. Shallow low-level clouds are expected to result in occasional cloudiness with a few scattered showers across the area, mainly during the morning.
A tropical wave east of the region is expected to move across the area overnight Sunday into Monday. Increased moisture and shower activity can be expected as a result. Another tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is showing signs of development and expected to approach the area by Wednesday.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 48 hours, with waves peaking to 7.0ft in eastern coastal waters.
