The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has advised customers in parts of north, central and south Trinidad served by the Caroni Water Treatment Plant that production has been reduced at the plant which may result in reduced supply to some customers.
This took effect at 3pm on Thursday and will continue at 3pm on Saturday.
WASA said this is the result of flooded river conditions and clogged screens at the raw water intake of the facility due to the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
