Customers served by the Granville Water Treatment Plant (WTP) are advised that mechanical problems are affecting three wells at the facility, resulting in low production.

Extensive emergency repairs are expected to be completed by 8pm on Saturday.

The affected areas are Granville Old Road, Syfoo Trace, Bamboo Village, Bois Bourg, Coromandel, Fullerton, Cedros, Icacos, Lalla Street, Bilwa Street, Boodram Trace and Granville Main Road.

Customers are further advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalise once works are completed.

A limited truck-borne service will be available upon request.

For further information or assistance, contact WASA’s customer call centre toll-free at 800-4420/26.
