A vehicle that was stolen at gunpoint in Macoya on Friday was recovered in Mt Hope.
The incident took place around 12:20am along Gladioli Boulevard.
Police were told that a 29-year-old man was seated in his red Kia Sportage when he was confronted by two masked men armed with firearms.
The suspects ordered the victim out of his SUV, got in, and drove off.
The victim immediately notified the police.
Officers conducted inquiries and received vital intelligence which led them to the carpark of the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex about an hour later.
There, the vehicle was found and seized.
It is expected to be examined for fingerprints by crime scene personnel later today, before being returned to the victim.
