Another police officer has died.
A statement issued by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) noted that Rory Ranmohan passed away on Tuesday.
PC Ramohan enlisted in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service on September 16, 1988, and served for 34 years.
He will be remembered for his stints in the Western Division, as well as at the Piarco and the Arouca Police Stations.
His colleagues at the Arouca Police Station described him as an optimistic and cheerful officer despite his many challenges.
Inspector Michelle Lewis, who worked closely with PC Manmohan at the Community Policing, remembered him as a jovial, down-to-earth officer who was the face of the TTPS on his motorcycle. She added that he supported primary school activities in the Northern Division.
Acting Commissioner of Police Mc Donald Jacob and the executive members of TTPS extended condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late officer who is leaving his wife Neera and son behind.
