Trinidad and Tobago Red Force were left frustrated after their CG Insurance Super50 Cup match against the Combined Campuses and Colleges ended in a no result on Monday at the Queen’s Park Oval.
The Red Force restricted the CCC to 200 all out in 50 overs, with Kirstan Kallicharan top-scoring with 37.
Imran Khan took 4 for 53, while Terrance Hinds (2/18), Jason Mohammed (2/19), and Yannic Cariah (2/37) took the rest of the wickets.
The defending champions lost Joshua Da Silva (22) early before Kjorn Ottley (43 not out) and Jason Mohammed (23 not out) took the score to 97 for 1 before the rains intervened.
The match never restarted and a no result was declared as T&T Red Force had only faced 18.5 overs in the match.
On Sunday, Leeward Island Hurricanes’ match against Barbados Pride was also declared a no result.
The Leeward Islands got to 243 for 8 in 47 overs with Devon Thomas scoring 94 and Keacey Carthy 59.
Camarie Boyce took 2 for 35, while Jomel Warrican had 2 for 52 for the Barbados Pride.
