Trinidad and Tobago fell further behind on the second day of the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships (CAJGC) in Puerto Rico on Thursday.
Puerto Rico took a giant step towards winning the title after racking up 58 points on Thursday to go to 110 points in total.
The Dominican Republic and Jamaica are tied in second on 80 points, with the Bahamas on 69 points and Trinidad and Tobago on 58 points.
T&T’s golfers scored 29 points on the opening day, and gathered a further 29 on the second day.
Chris Richards Jr had the best round of the day for Trinidad and Tobago, carding a 74 to move up to fourth place in the Boys U18 category.
Jean-Marc Chevrotiere and Zico Correia both shot 77 to improve on their first-day scores.
The final day of the 2022 CAJGC is on Friday at Palmas Del Mar Athletic Club in Puerto Rico.
