Trinidad and Tobago’s team has arrived in Israel for the UCI Junior World Track Cycling Championships.
The Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Federation indicated on its social media pages that the team of Phoebe Sandy, Devante Laurence, and manager/coach Gregory D’Andrade have safely made it to Tel Aviv.
The championship starts on Tuesday at the Sylvan Adams Velodrome in Tel Aviv and ends on Saturday.
The team was pictured in training at the Tel Aviv velodrome ahead of the championship.
Laurence and Sandy were both selected for the 2021 Pan American Junior Track Cycling Championship but were unable to compete after the meet was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
