A citizen of Trinidad and Tobago identified as a Special Reserve Police Officer (SRP) along with a Grenadian man have been charged with robbery with violence in Grenada.
A statement from the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) on December 30, 2022 said:
“Christon Balboza, 27, Special Reserve Police Officer, a Citizen of Trinidad & Tobago and Stephen Francis, 28, a Fisherman of Victoria, St Mark were arrested and jointly charged for the offence of Robbery with Violence in connection with the December 22, 2022 Robbery at Grand Mal Gas Station.”
The police statement said Francis was also charged for the offence of Assault with a Dangerous Instrument to wit, a gun.
Both men were remanded to His Majesty’s Prisons.
The matter was adjourned to January 10, 2023.
