Members of Trinidad and Tobago’s men’s senior team have arrived in Thailand for the King’s Cup.
Angus Eve’s team plays Tajikistan on Thursday in their first match for a place in the finals against either Thailand or Malaysia.
Levi and Judah Garcia, Leston Paul, Marvin Phillip, Ajani Fortune, Jesse Williams, and Sheldon Bateau arrived on Monday after taking connecting flights from Miami, Doha, and Bangkok.
They were warmly welcomed as they arrived in Chiang Mai ahead of the tournament.
Members of the public were at the airport to greet the Trinidad and Tobago players and several took the opportunity to take photos with members of the national senior team.
The remaining players are set to arrive on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s match.
