The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad & Tobago (TSTT) has advised customers of a fibre break which, it said, was causing intermittent interruptions to mobile data, landline, Internet, TV and Internet via MiFi devices.

In a statement on Friday, TSTT’s manager, media and stakeholder and relations Janelle David said the damaged fibre was also affecting service to customers in Toco and environs.

David said the company apologised for the inconvenience and told all affeccted customers crews had been mobilised to effect repairs.

“Every effort is being made to fully restore the impacted services in the shortest possible time,” she said.

TSTT thanked customers for their patience and said updates would be provided as repairs progressed.
