Trinidad and Tobago’s weather: Mid-morning showers expected

Here’s a look at the weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service. 

For the period today until midnight, expect generally sunny conditions despite a few partly cloudy spells with light to moderate showers developing from midmorning. There is the medium (40 per cent to 60 per cent) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity in a few areas.

Expect a fair night despite the isolated shower. Gusty winds and street flooding can occur in the vicinity of heavy showers/thunderstorms.

Seas 

Seas are moderate with waves up to two metres, occasionally up to 2.5metres in open waters and below 1.0m in sheltered areas.

Spring Tides are in effect. Persons with marine interests should exercise caution especially during high tides.
