Police said the body of a 43-year-old man was found in Toco on Saturday.
Police identified the deceased as Adon Jones AKA ‘Bobo’ of Channenay Trace, Cumana Village, Toco.
The discovery was made around 2pm on December 31, in the yard of his home.
It bore several wounds that resembled gunshot injuries.
Residents of the area told police that around 2am that day, they heard a series of loud explosions.
However, nothing was observed amiss.
It was not until relatives went looking for Jones that his body was discovered.
A report was made to the police and a team of officers from the Toco Police Station, the Sangre Grande Police Station, and the Eastern Division, along with the District Medical Officer, visited the scene.
