A bumper crowd is expected at this weekend’s T20I matches between West Indies and India at Lauderhill, Florida.
India leads the five-match series 2-1 with the final two matches to be played at the Central Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill on 6 and 7 August.
Cricket West Indies reported that less than 400 tickets remain for Saturday’s match with under 1500 tickets still available for Sunday’s finale.
“After the thrilling matches in Trinidad and St. Kitts, we’re now in the USA for the fourth and final matches in the Goldmedal T20I Cup, powered by Kent Water Purifiers. It’s great news that West Indies and India fans have flocked to Lauderhill in what is almost certainly going to be a full house,” said Dominic Warne, CWI’s Commercial Director.
“This is the last chance for many fans to watch two exciting teams making final preparations for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup and going all out to win the Goldmedal T20I Cup trophy,” he added.
India won the first match of the series by 68 runs at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy before the West Indies bounced back to win the second match by five wickets at Warner Park, St Kitts.
India trounced the West Indies in the third match to set up an intriguing finale at Lauderhill.
