Trinidad and Tobago has confirmed three additional COVID-19-related deaths pushing fatalities to 4,183.

The patients were one elderly male, one elderly female and one middle-aged male all of whom had comorbidities.

The comorbidities present in the deceased include diabetes, hypertension, lung disease, kidney disease, neurological disease and cancer. 

In addition, 154 people have tested positive for the virus. These new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the County Medical Officers of Health. 

The number of cases reported reflects the samples taken between September 13 to 14 and not the last 24 hours. 

Since the start of the pandemic, 181,903 people have tested positive for the contagion. 

Additionally, 19 individuals have been discharged from public health facilities while there have been 270 recovered community cases. In total, 172,880 people have been discharged.

As for testing, 830,744 have done so at both public and private health facilities. 

There are 185 hospitalised patients, 14 in transition facilities and 4,641 in home isolation.
