The Trinbago Knight Riders go in search of their second win of the 2022 Caribbean Premier League when they face the Barbados Royals on Wednesday at Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in St Lucia.

The match begins at 10:00 am with the unbeaten Knight Riders against the Royals who are in second place behind the Tallawahs.

The Knight Riders beat the St Lucia Kings by three wickets in their opening match, before their second match against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots was abandoned.

The Royals whipped the Patriots by seven wickets in their opening game, before defeating the Kings by 11 runs in a close second match.

Meanwhile, the top-ranked Jamaica Tallawahs are up against the winless St Lucia Kings in the 7:00 pm match on Wednesday.

The Tallawahs destroyed the Patriots in their opening game, winning by 47 runs, before cruising past the Amazon Warriors by four wickets in their second game.

The Kings lost their opening game to the Knight Riders before defeating the Royals by 11 runs in a rain-affected match.

The first seven matches of the 2022 CPL were staged at Warner Park St Kitts.

The next eight matches are scheduled for the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground before the Trinidad leg of the tournament from 13-18 September.
