While guarding an establishment, two security guards became victims themselves after being robbed at gunpoint by armed men in Cunupia.
Police said the two security guards, aged 67 and 64, were at a site along Jerningham Junction around 9.30 pm on Tuesday night when two masked men confronted them.
One of the men pulled out a firearm and announced a hold-up, and then both attackers robbed the men of their cash, cellular phones, and other valuables.
The 67-year-old was also relieved of his white Nissan AD Wagon.
The suspects then escaped the scene in the stolen vehicle.
The victims were able to notify the police and searches are ongoing for the two individuals.
More on this as it becomes available.
