Defending champions Rungetters BD, Cocrico Cavaliers, and the Steelpan Players won their matches on Tuesday in the Dream 11 Trinidad T10 Blast.

Rungetters stormed to a nine-wicket win over the Scarlet Ibis Scorchers, after Navin Bidaisee took 3 for 11 to help restrict their opponents to 105 for 5.

Dexter Sween smashed 46 off 17 balls for the Cavaliers, while Uthman Muhammad (1/23) and Joshua James (1/22) also had wickets for the Rungetters.

However, Nicholas Sookdeosingh (59 not out) and Vikash Mohan (31) ensured that the Rungettes won with nine balls to spare.

In the second game on Tuesday, Jyd Goolie starred with the bat to pace the Steelpan Players to an eight-wicket win over the Soca Kings.

Goolie smacked seven sixes in a dizzying 55 not out off 17 balls to ace a chase of 138 with seven balls to spare.

Earlier, Jason Mohammed hit 25 for the Soca Kings, while Teshawn Castro took 2 for 18 and blasted 38 off 16 balls.

In the third game of the day, Amir Jangoo continued his fine form with 63 not out to secure a 14-run win for the Cocrico Cavaliers over the Leatherback Giants.

Jangoo put on 71 for the first wicket with Cephas Cooper (41), while Jesse Bootan powered 35 not out off only nine balls with five sixes, in 150 for 2.

Leatherback Giants got going after Saiba Batoosingh (61 not out) and Vikesh Harrylochan (40) came together.

However, they fell 14 runs short with Shaaron Lewis (1/14) and Jabari Mills (1/23) starring with the ball.

On Wednesday, Scarlet Ibis Scorchers face Steelpan Players at noon, while defending champions Rungetters BD will take on Steelpan Players at 3:00 pm.

Cocrico Cavaliers face the unbeaten Scorchers in their second match of the day at 5:30 pm.
