ReThink, an organisation dedicated to community enlightenment and the overall increase in life satisfaction through learning, networking and inner peace, is encouraging people to spread ripples of kindness to celebrate World Kindness Day.
The group, known for its World Kindness Day initiatives, has chosen Kindfulness as this year’s theme.
They’re challenging people to really take the time to set their minds and be more aware and intentional of being kind to themselves and each other.
While World Kindness Day is observed November 13, ReThink’s activities are set for November 14.
This year, ReThink has developed kindness cards imprinted with individual numbers with a QR code so that those passing on the acts of Kindness can track the ripple of resonance through software developed on a specially designed site.
Several sponsors are on board to support the initiative and the organisation’s dedicated Band of Support van with a Captain Kindness character will join other volunteers in delivering random acts of kindness. Measures of support include hampers, water, candy, and paid for groceries.
The company is heartened to see more individuals, businesses and organisations recognising the importance and value of spreading the positive message.
ReThink’s ideology is that if each individual plays just a small part by being mindful to take the time to reach out to others with gestures of kindness, they will create greater opportunities for positive thinking and change to take place, one person at a time.
“Every single person we can think about, from every walk of life is worth this effort to spread the kindness message,” ReThink said.
