Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman are back in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after completing their stints with Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.

Leg-spinner Rashid has joined St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, replacing Sri Lankan Wanindu Hasaranga, who is due to play in the Asia Cup final on Sunday.

Off-spinner Mujeeb ur Rahman, who previously represented the Jamaica Tallawahs, has joined the Barbados Royals.

Rashid has previously represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Barbados Tridents.

He took 11 wickets in 10 matches for the Tridents in 2020 at an economy rate of 6.85.

in 2017, Rashid took a hat-trick in the eliminator against the Jamaica Tallawahs at Tarouba, the first hat-trick in the history of the CPL

Mujeeb has taken 203 wickets in 183 T20 matches at an average of 22.53, with an economy rate of 6.62.

Meanwhile, Maheesh Theekshana is still yet to join the Trinbago Knight Riders.

The Sri Lankan off-spinner, who is due to play in the Asia Cup on Sunday, is still yet to get a No Objection Certificate from Sri Lankan Cricket.
