Nearly 6,000 seats made available for passengers from October 24 – 31 to accommodate demand for domestic travel for the inaugural Tobago Carnival remained empty.
A media release issued by Caribbean Airlines (CAL) revealed that 20,200 seats were made available to passengers between Trinidad and Tobago, inclusive of additional services on the airbridge to meet customer demand.
Over the period, 14,426 passengers travelled between both islands on 279 flights.
CAL also operated five international non-stop flights from Barbados, Miami and New York with a capacity of 686 seats to Tobago.
