It is clear that the always disgusting Keith Rowley has abandoned his duties as Prime Minister.
He has definitively shown that he will stoop to the lowest levels possible to divert attention.
Hypocritically, this is the same man who just two weeks ago cried from a PNM platform that he wanted “a little respect” from Kamla Persad-Bissessar. But his own asinine Facebook posts show that he is deserving of none, whatsoever.
In the meanwhile, he has left behind our infrastructure to rot and clog, causing hundreds of families and farmers to suffer millions of dollars in damage and loss, and neglected our national security so that criminals run freely in broad daylight, killing and robbing with impunity.
As both flooding and crime have reached unprecedented levels in our history, Keith Rowley has had nothing to say about this, but is rather kicksing on Facebook. Indeed, he is truly like the half-crazy, wholly vicious, depraved, evil-minded Roman Emperor, Caligula.
At the UNC’s Virtual Report on Monday 14 November, Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar provoked Rowley when she declared, “Imagine when this whole country was horrified by the scenes of primary school children — we saw the videos and photos — ducking under desks in their school room, gunshots ringing out – Rowley got pip. He went totally silent.
“When every part of Trinidad and Tobago is flooded out – Rowley still has pip. Not a word out of him.
“When murders have now crossed 535 and counting – this man still has pip.
“But over the weekend he found something to talk about. He made a public statement, he posted on Facebook — a picture of himself playing golf with a great man, Sir Vivian Richards…
“And imagine this. He must hold the record for the amount of times anyone has contracted Covid. He couldn’t come to Parliament on Friday. Yet miraculously, next morning, as you saw the photo, first thing, first line of business, first priority, was not about the crime, not about the flooding, not about the suffering. The first line of business, first priority is to go and play golf.
“And this is so ridiculous. They can’t fix crime, they can’t fix infrastructure. They want to fix West Indies cricket.
Persad-Bissessar continued, “If you think you are going to distract us to go off and talk about West Indies cricket, yes I’ll speak about it, only to say, what nonsense are you talking about?
“You can’t do one thing right. So, don’t even touch the people’s cricket. Don’t touch it.”
“People want elections. They want you to call that election now so we can vote out the Rowley PNM!”
“We will not let you off the hook… We will not let you forget Nelsongate, because that’s what you want us to do. You talk about cricket? Bam! Nelsongate gone out the window? No way!”
The UNC will not allow Keith Rowley to distract the country from his corruption, his misbehaviour in public office, and his relentless destruction of our once beautiful Trinidad and Tobago.
No matter how increasingly disgusting, insulting and provocative he becomes.
Keith Rowley is a disaster for Trinidad and Tobago, at every level. We will not be distracted. The UNC remains focused on saving Trinidad and Tobago, constitutionally removing him and his party from office, in the soonest possible time.
