The Trinidad and Tobago Music Company Limited (MusicTT) is thrilled to provide over 500 local musical performers with the opportunity to participate in the Live Music District (LMD) open call which allows eligible musicians to get paid for their performance.

The event will run from October 28 to January 31.

A statement by the Trinidad and Tobago Creative Industries Company Limited (CreativeTT) said MusicTT will provide a subsidy per singer/musician booked to perform at virtual, hybrid and/or in-person music events.

This is therefore an avenue for local artistes to earn revenue from performing.

MusicTT is inviting eligible promoters and event managers who are planning events featuring live musical acts to apply.

Melissa Jimenez, the General Manager of MusicTT said: “Local soloist, duets, bands and instrumentalist can all take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their talents at events in our country. MusicTT is proud of the success of the LMD since launching in March 2018 and this has motivated us to continue providing platforms to grow our dynamic music sector.”

Visit www.musictt.co.tt/grants for more information, or to apply for the LMD open call.
