The body was clad in blue jeans and a pink top with no footwear. The body was taken ashore where it was examined by a detective and it was observed that around the neck area bore a red mark.

The body is in an advanced state of decomposition. It was taken to the Enachu Police Station where it awaits transportation to Georgetown for an autopsy.

The area where the body was found is approximately four miles away from Martin’s Landing, from where she was reported missing.

The young mother of one was last seen alive on June 17 at an entertainment spot in the area.

She and two others had travelled by boat to Martin’s Landing to sell perfumes and other items for their employer.
