A 31-year-old man is warded in a serious condition after he was shot in Maloney Sunday night.

According to police reports, around 9:45pm the victim was liming on the southern side of the ground floor in Building 16, when two armed men approached him and fired several shots in his direction.

The men escaped on foot.

The victim then felt a burning sensation in his left shoulder and was then taken to the Maloney Police Station by a resident.

He was then conveyed to the Arima Hospital.
