Police said a 26-year-old man was shot dead in east Port of Spain on Monday.
Officials identified the deceased as Ashton Agard of Duke Street, Port of Spain.
According to police reports around 4:10 pm police received a report of a shooting at a tyre shop along Laventille Road.
When officers arrived, they found Agard’s body.
A team of officers led by Insp Sooklalsingh and Sgt Aricia responded and are continuing enquiries.
