Police said a 35-year-old man was killed in a road traffic accident in Valencia on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sharaz Mohammed of Goodman Street, Gasparillo.
According to police reports, Mohammed was liming with a group of friends around 9pm near the Hang Out Bar located along the Eastern Main Road in Valencia, when he stepped onto the main road.
At the same time, a van was passing along the roadway.
The van came into contact with Mohammed.
The police and paramedics were notified and a team of officers led by Cpl Hosein responded.
