A 20-year-old man was shot dead in Diego Martin Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Zion Dunbar of Sea Trace, Diego Martin.
According to reports, about 10pm yesterday, residents of St Lucien Road heard a series of explosions.
Upon investigating, they found Dunbar lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
The police and paramedics were notified, but the 20-year-old succumbed to his injuries.
A team of officers from the Western Division as well as the Homicide Bureau responded and are continuing inquiries.
While police have no motive for this killing, Dunbar was known to investigators as a suspect in firearm-related offences.
