A 36-year-old man is dead following a chopping incident at his Barrackpore home on Friday.
The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Amit Boodoo of Jaipaulsingh Trace, Barrackpore.
According to reports, around 6pm Boodoo was at his home, when he got into an argument with another man.
During the incident, he was chopped several times.
Boodoo was taken to a health facility where he was pronounced dead.
The other man was also injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
