Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Jomal Williams has parted ways with Club Deportivo Aguila by mutual agreement.
The club made the announcement on Friday in a media release.
Williams has made only five appearances for the club in the 2022-23 Primera Division Apertura, with only one assist to his credit.
The 28-year-old left CD Luis Angel Firpo to join CD Aguila in July 2022 but has struggled to make an impression at his new club under new manager Sebastian Bini.
Williams scored 22 goals in 44 games at CD Luis Angel Firpo playing in a more advanced role.
However, at CD Aguila he has played in left midfield, right midfield, and center forward in his five games.
Williams started his career in El Salvador football in July 2019, when he left W Connection in Trinidad for ADI Metapan.
A former Trinidad and Tobago U17, U20, and U23 player, Williams last represented his country at the senior level in a 4-0 loss to Honduras in November 2019.
He has played 17 internationals since his debut in March 2015, scoring three goals and creating one.
Williams scored goals against Uruguay, China, and Anguilla in international friendlies.
