Trinidad and Tobago striker Asha James has been named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year in the Lone Star Conference (LSC) for the 2022 season.
James, who is a junior at West Texas A&M, was named as one of the LSC Women’s Soccer Offensive Placer to Watch for 2022.
The midfielder from Canaan, Tobago, started all 20 games for the Lady Buffaloes and scored 14 goals with three assists.
James was also named to the All-LSC Second Team and named to the Second Team All-Region.
The 22-year-old, who has also competed in cricket and track and field, is a psychology major at Texas A&M.
