MISS FRANCE – Les Français ont leur nouvelle reine de beauté. Diane Leyre a passé le flambeau à Indira Ampiot ce samedi 17 décembre. Miss Guadeloupe a été élue Miss France 2023 à l’issue d’une cérémonie de quatre heures diffusée sur TF1 qui s’est déroulée à Chateauroux.

Comme le veut la tradition, Miss France 2022 a couronné la gagnante, après que Jean-Pierre Foucault a annoncé son nom. Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Miss Franche-Comté, Miss Martinique et Miss Auvergne remportent elles respectivement les titres de première, deuxième, troisième et quatrième dauphine.

Indira Ampiot a été élue à 50/50 par les téléspectateurs de TF1 et le jury, présidé par Francis Huster. L’acteur était accompagné du chanteur Kenji Girac, de Miss France 2013 Marine Lorphelin, de la championne de judo Clarisse Agbegnenou, du producteur Dominique Besnehard, du comédien Arnaud Ducret et de l’humoriste Bérangère Krief, qui a remplacé Camille Lellouche à la dernière minute.

« Ramener la couronne à la maison »

Pour sa 93e édition, le concours de beauté était placé sous le thème du cinéma, avec des tableaux rendant hommages à des films cultes, de Titanic au Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain, en passant par Harry Potter.

Le couronnement d’Indira Ampiot s’est déroulé à la fin d’une année riche en changements pour l’institution Miss France.

Les critères de sélection ont évolué, et c’était également la dernière cérémonie de Sylvie Tellier en tant que directrice générale du Comité Miss France. Entre deux tableaux, elle a fait ses adieux, en larmes, et passé le flambeau à Cindy Fabre.

Lors de son discours en demi-finale, Indira Ampiot avait fait un joli clin d’œil aux Bleus en cette veille de finale de la Coupe du monde. La nouvelle Miss France avait affirmé vouloir « ramener la couronne et la coupe à la maison »…
