Police are investigating the murder of Jehlano Romney, a state witness in the killing of PC Clarence Gilkes, during a shooting in Morvant on Sunday night. Police said around 10pm Sunday night, he was reportedly a relative’s home along Coconut Drive in Morvant, when he was confronted by an armed man. Get the full story here.
Recent data has indicated that 14.8 per cent of Trinidad and Tobago’s adult population is living with diabetes. That’s according to Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh in a statement in commemoration of World Diabetes Day on Monday. Read more here.
