The Inter-American Development Bank said it’s fully committed to support the economic and social development of the region with the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

In a statement the organisation said it is “implementing a broad effort to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and transparency to facilitate better results, impact and monitoring effectiveness”.

The organisation said its Access to Information Policy provides guidance on the management of information in the institution (https://www.iadb.org/en/access-information/home).

The IDB said according to the 2022 Aid Transparency Index (https://www.publishwhatyoufund.org/wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2022/06/Aid-Transparency-Index-2022.pdf) the IDB ranked third among 50 multilateral and bilateral providers of aid, considering 35 indicators on the availability and accessibility of information.

The IDB said it continues to work closely with our partners, including the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, to create opportunities and improve the lives of the people in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The IDB said it remains open and available to communication with all stakeholders in Trinidad and Tobago and other countries in the region.

Additionally the IDB said information on the referenced project, TT-L1026 – the Multi-Phase Wastewater Rehabilitation Program Phase 1, can be found at https://www.iadb.org/en/project/TT-L1026.

Additionally, information on their financing solutions and loan terms can be found here: https://www.iadb.org/en/idb-finance/idb-finance-portal.
