Assalaamu alaykum my dear supporters!
May Allah Swt bless you all abundantly for all what you have done in the last 5 years in aid of the growing Muslim community of Guadeloupe in the French Caribbean, for contributing towards its latest milestone. Ameen.
As many of you already know, Imam Abdallah and his Trust Association Al Kitab, which was established in 2006, had been looking for a place to convert into a Mosque for years until they found the one storey building below that they can call their own, mashaAllah .
Indeed, last year the Trust was not only able to finalise the purchase agreement. It was also in a position to pay €50,000 of the €80,000 asking price upfront, partly thanks to your amazing support, whether it be in terms of donations, duas and/or valuable suggestions mashaallah tabarakAllah. Indeed, circa 25% of this upfront payment alone had been covered by “Les Muslims de Bradford Uk Angleterre” . May Allah Swt grant you all contentment and happiness, and multiply your hasanahs. Ameen.
Well, since then the building has been undergoing some renovation work, with some sizeable progress, mashaAllah, despite considerable delays due to the Covid pandemic.
To such an extent that a new milestone was finally reached most recently when the Mosque opened its doors for the first time to a few brothers, mashaAllah tabarakAllah!
This is the time, however, when I found out about the Trust’s urgent need to raise £2900 so that they may buy 77 m² of mosque vinyl flooring for this 100m² new place of worship. Imam Abdallah mentions that this type of flooring was purposefully chosen as it is a durable material which will, inshaAllah, be easy to maintain and hygienic which is especially important after the coronavirus pandemic.
Hence I have set up this second fundraiser page. Please, dear supporters, continue to donate whatever you can, make duas, and/or share this fundraiser with your friends and families.
InshaAllah all the renovation work carried out in this one storey property – now worth more than €80,000 – will add value to it over time, which in turn will benefit the First Purposely Built Mosque of Guadeloupe Project bi ithnillah !
May Allah Swt accept it from all of us. Ameen.
BarakAllahu fikum.
