There is new leadership at the Miss France Organisation as Guadeloupian Cindy Fabre has been appointed as the beauty pageant’s director.
Fabre, who was crowned Miss France in 2005, was announced as the new director today.
She replaces Sylvie Tellier who the Miss France Organisation said is leaving “to devote herself to new projects” after 17 years at the helm.
CEO of the Miss France Society Alexia Laroche-Joubert said Fabre is a perfect choice to replace Tellier.
“I naturally thought of Cindy Fabre as the director of the national competition and Miss France brand representative to the public, media and local communities. Cindy is a Miss France that I have known for a long time, I was there during her election in 2004 in Tours and her third place in Miss Europe,” she said.
“She has all the professional and human qualities necessary to succeed in her new roles and best accompany young women in their role of embodiment of Miss France values.”
Fabre, who also represented France at the Miss World and Miss Universe competitions in 2005, said she is grateful for the opportunity.
“A new adventure! 18 years ago I met @aljofficiel during my election, I am delighted to find her and join the Miss France teams who work throughout the year for this magnificent program!”
