Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Dr Amery Browne met with Shante Moore, US Embassy Chargé d’Affaires on Thursday at the Ministry’s headquarters.

According to a statement from the Ministry, among the matters discussed during the meeting were the release of the United States Department of State 2022 Trafficking in Persons Report and the ongoing negotiations toward the renewal of a long-standing bilateral security agreement between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America.

The Ministry noted that the dialogue was very productive with both parties exchanging views and committing to continued cooperation on key matters of mutual interest.
