Roseau, Dominica: The Commonwealth of Dominica is all set to welcome the T20 International Cricket match between the West Indies and Bangladesh to its shores as the preparations are in full swing. 

Dominica Cricket Association, in collaboration with Discover Dominica Authority, has announced the entry protocols for the matches as T20I will be held in the country on July 2nd and 3rd, 2022. The match will be held at the Windsor Park Stadium in Roseau, and people are waiting to celebrate the festive cricket during the matches. 

The Stadium will witness authentic elements of the Carnival experience of Dominica and its unique heritage with the various cultural performances, dance, the Kalinago people and the famous sounds of the popular Lapo Kabwit. 

Entry protocols: 

  • People who are vaccinated or unvaccinated are allowed to enter the Stadium. 
  • The government urged people to remain cautious and stick to every protocol related to the COVID-19 pandemic so that safety could be maintained. 
  • Mask-wearing and sanitization are compulsory upon entrance to the Stadium and stands. 

About Ticket Protocols: 

  • People who are aged 65 years and over and children 12 and under will experience a 50 percent discount on the prices of the ticket. Shillingford ($70 standard, $35 – 65 and older). 
  • Clement John and John Laurent ($40 standard, $20 – 65 and older) East ($40 standard, $20 – 65 and older) Grounds ($15, $8 – 65 and older). 
  • Tickets are strand-specific but not seat-specific, so the government have encouraged the people to arrive early to get the seats of their choice. Tickets is on sale online and at the Windsor Park Stadium soon.
  • Further, people must also be aware of the exit policy during the games. 
  •  People who once exit the Stadium during the games will not be permitted to re-enter on the same ticket. 
  • People will need to purchase a new ticket to re-enter the facility.

Further, Discover Dominica is giving away two free match tickets weekly until the match days. Round one will run from June 20th to 23rd, 2022. To participate, do the following:
