A 47-year-old man was murdered in front of his home on Wednesday.
Ashram Williams also known as DJ Sona was at his house along Hoyte Avenue, Maturita, when someone called out to him from the street at around 3:05pm.
Williams left the safety of his home and went towards the gate; several explosions were then heard.
He was later found bleeding with apparent gunshot wounds.
Officers from the Arima Task Force responded and took Williams to the Arima Health Facility where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
