The Nevis Island Assembly election date has been set placing the people of Nevis once again in election mode this year.
Election Day on the island of Nevis shall be Monday, December 12, 2022.
In an address last evening, Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley said on November 24, he advised Governor-General Sir S. Tapley Seato after consultation with Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew that the Nevis Island Assembly should be dissolved as of Friday, November 25, 2022.
Nomination Day for the election of representatives to the Nevis Island Assembly shall be Monday, December 5, 2022.
The Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) won the last Nevis Island Assembly election in 2017.
