Trinidad and Tobago cyclist Tyriq Woods finished 13th in the Road Time Trial at the inaugural edition of the Caribbean Games in Guadeloupe.
Woods completed the course in 30 minutes 35.95 seconds.
Guadeloupe’s Yannis Adre Lubin won the gold medal in a time of 27 minutes 2.22 seconds.
Raphal Loutone of Guadeloupe was second (27:51.18) with Christopher Morales Frontan of Puerto (27:57.54) taking the bronze medal.
Woods, a member of Evolution Cycling Academy, is set to compete in the Road Race on Sunday.
He is accompanied by Roger Frontin (Team Manager) and Kevin Tinto (Mechanic).
Woods won the Road Race and the Time Trial in the Elite Category at the 2022 National Road Race last weekend.
He also won the Road Race, Time Trial, and Points Race titles at the U23 level in 2022.
