Points Table

Barbados Royals lost their first match of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League 2022 by one run.

Chloe Tryon is the top run-scorer for Barbados Royals with 38 runs at a strike rate of 146. She has struck 3 sixes and 3 fours. Hayley Matthews has also made 18 runs at a strike rate of 112.

Shakera Selman has been the best bowler for Barbados Royals and has picked up 2 wickets while bowling at an average of 8 and an economy rate of 4.00.

Stafanie Taylor will captain Guyana Amazon Warriors in the WCPL and will be the most important member for the side not only as a player but as a leader as well. A veteran of 145 ODIs and 111 T20 Internationals, Taylor will be instrumental with both bat and ball for the side.

So will be Sri Lanka’s Chamari Atapattu who is among the most feared openers in the women’s game. The Sri Lankan has scored over 2000 runs from 98 T20 Internationals and strikes at over 100 consistently.

South Africa’s medium pacer Ayabonga Khaka can also create a big impact due to her ability of doing well both at the top and in the middle overs.
