I can remember when we argued about budget deficits. How we as a nation were robbing our children of their future. How sad that it is only getting worse.
Not only are we stealing their money. Now we are stealing their education and their life experiences. I myself am disgusted by what the government is doing to a free people in what is supposed to be a free nation. As an adult I can see it.
Our children, they don’t understand. You cowards afraid of dying from a virus that has virtually no effect on the youth of this country, other than make them immune to it, need to get over yourselves. Our children are way more important than you ever thought of being. If you are scared, wear a mask. That is your right. Don’t impose your misguided will on me or my children or all the children. Let the kids live their lives, like you got to live yours.
As for me, I would rather die than live in this tyrannical environment. I’ve enjoyed living free and I will not live another way. I’m done with the nonsense. I am a free and proud American. Jail me, fine me, do what you must. I know I will.
Illegal immigration re Dee Halzack letter.
Hey Dee, as a small business owner I’d like to enlighten you to a few things I have to deal with as a sole proprietor. I’m not college educated. I went into business with my dad in 1985. We worked hard and earned a decent living. Now I have to compete with illegal aliens who have no regard for the same laws I have to follow. Examples: Income taxes, drivers license, insurance, vaccinations. Here’s the humanitarian thing to do for Americans. Deport them all. Charge employers who use illegal aliens and support Americans and buy American. One question Dee: Do you have locks on your doors? That’s what I thought.
Let’s pardon all turkeys
Next week, President Trump will take a break from brooding over his election loss to pardon two turkeys. Every one of us has that same awesome power to pardon an innocent, sentient bird by choosing a plant-based roast for our Thanksgiving dinner.
Some good news. With growing popularity of Tofurky and other plant-based holiday roasts, U.S. turkey production has dropped a whopping 25% from its 1995 high of 293 million.
This Thanksgiving, let’s give thanks for our good fortune, health, and happiness with a cruelty-free plant-based holiday roast available in convenient sizes. An internet search on “vegetarian Thanksgiving” offers more options and recipes than we could possibly use.
