Police exercises in the Western Division on Saturday led to the seizure of 16 grammes of cocaine and five rounds of 5.56 ammunition.
The team of lawmen from the West comprised officers of the St James, Four Roads and West End Police Stations.
The officers conducted searches of several known drug blocks, vehicles and persons.
The cocaine was found during a search of the St James Fish Market. The drugs were concealed in a clear packet, was found in an open area.
In another report, officers of the Western Division Task Force acting on information executed a search warrant at house in River Estate, Diego Martin.

While nothing illegal was found, the party of officers then proceeded to a bushy area along Yellowbird Avenue where a search was conducted and a white plastic bag containing five rounds of 5.56 ammunition was found and seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
