British High Commissioner Harriet Cross presented centenarian Charlotte Sabga with a letter from King Charles III to mark her 100th birthday.
It’s customary for the monarchy to send cards with a special message to UK citizens celebrating their 100th and 105th birthday, and every year thereafter.
The letter to the new centenarian was signed by The King and Queen Consort Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Charlotte Sabga is presented with a letter from King Charles III.
She’s the head of a large family, and is proud of her children Richard, Juliet and Janet (as well as Ramon and Carlos deceased), plus her 17 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
Harriet Cross, British High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago expressed well wishes to Sabga on the milestone.
She said: “I wish Mrs Charlotte Sabga a very happy birthday. Reaching 100 years is a great achievement. It is also an opportunity to look back at the life of love, adventure and commitment to family that led her to Trinidad and Tobago.
