Police said a Carenage man is expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate tomorrow (September 26, 2022) after he was held with a quantity of cocaine and ammunition.
The suspect was held on Friday night near his apartment in Mt Pleasant by officers of the Western Division Task Force.
The officers received intelligence of illegal activities at the home and executed a search warrant there.
At the apartment, they reportedly found and seized 51 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 12 rounds of .38mm ammunition, and 27 transparent plastic bags containing cocaine.
As a result of the find, the suspect was immediately arrested.
He was taken to the St James Police Station where he was questioned and charged by PC Warrick.
